I have two young girls, and I am extremely aware that what they eat and the way that they behave now – what they put into their bones now is going to have an effect on them later on. It’s move it or lose it – you need to exercise!
Sarcopenia is a disease associated with the aging process. Loss of muscle mass and strength, which in turn affects balance, gait and overall ability to perform tasks of daily living, are hallmark signs of this disease.
Scientists have long believed muscle loss and others signs associated with aging are an inevitable process. However, researchers are looking for ways in which we can slow the aging process, specifically in relation to loss of muscle mass and strength.

I am very interested in fighting against osteoporosis because my great grandmother had the disease. I think that we all can live very nice, but we have to eat well you know, and we have to work out… and even if you don’t like to go to the gym, and lift weights and all of that – you can dance! That’s one of the best ways - you just have to move it, or you’re gonna lose it!
