Societies from Pakistan and Uzbekistan join the IOF family of member organizations
IOF is pleased to announce that two new societies have joined the IOF family as part of the Committee of National Societies (CNS):
- Endocrinological and Diabetes Association of Uzbekistan (EDAU) – Full member
- The Pakistan Society for the Rehabilitation of the Disabled – Associate member
The IOF CNS members now total 209 in 96 different locations. The number of CNS member organizations, both patient and medical, has steadily increased and reflects the wide geographic remit of IOF. In addition, osteoporosis prevention and management is uniquely multi disciplinary in nature, and this too is reflected in the CNS' broad areas of specialization.
CNS members include health professional and patient societies working in the fields of endocrinology, rheumatology, women's health, rehabilitation, and orthopaedics - all united by their dedication to the welfare of people with osteoporosis.
